Blaze’s Tribute Equine Rescue receives many high-quality, sound and trainable horses in our rescue program yearly. We feel that Blaze’s Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge will highlight these wonderful rescued horses, promote adoptions and give many of our local Oklahoma Horse Trainers the attention that they deserve. We will have wonderful Oklahoma & surrounding area trainers competing in our trainers challenge. They will receive 120 days to train their horse into a well mannered riding partner, where they will strut their stuff on

About Our Rescue
Blaze’s Tribute Equine Rescue, Inc., has been operating for 16 years. Our first rescue consisted of 20 horses that were severely neglected and abused in McClain County. We sadly lost one due to the severe nature of his neglect. We were able to rehabilitate the remaining 19 horses and matched each one to a suitable home, all of which are doing great today. We have also been successful in matching horses for therapeutic use including a horse to be used for physical therapy to a young girl with Prady-Willi Syndrome. We have offered education to new and current horse owners to positive aspects of horse ownership. To date, Blaze’s Tribute Equine Rescue has rescued a total of 1,290 horses and we have successfully adopted out 1,054 of those horses to wonderful homes. We are currently caring for approximately 150 horses.
